Rewriting the story of 2020

The Designer Annual is a limited edition publication by Nimble. Design Co. that offers a glimpse into the people and studio practices that craft seamless branded experiences for the built environment. As a Design Intern, I collaborated with the Design Team from ideation to completion to publish the second edition of The Designer Annual titled “Shift Happens,” a piece focused on how the studio team pivoted in the midst of chaos in 2020. My efforts focused on hand-illustrating and designing the front cover and poster spread. All titles and headlines in the publication were hand-rendered on paper, then vectorized to create an original typeface that truly speaks to “Shift Happens.”
