It all started when...

I was sitting by myself... alone... on a Saturday night. I'm realizing how valuable time is and how little we're guaranteed on Earth. Every second of this time needs to be spent wisely. The idle sitting that I do on a day to day basis has turned me into an over-thinker, a worrier, and a boring human. I waste hours mindlessly flicking my finger through my phone, caring so much about what others are doing, that I forget about myself. As this happens more, the line between living through myself and living through someone else is becoming blurred. I imagine myself looking back and wondering "What did I do?"- and this terrifies me. I want to see the world, bit by bit, through my own eyes, starting small, and from there growing outwards.

This project is documenting my journey to something better than a couch, a phone, and a lonely Saturday night. I will share my stories and experiences here that I create while traveling to places across the world (eventually) and in my backyard. I can't wait to get started. So, who wants to go with?

When we get out of the glass bottle of our ego and when we escape like the squirrels in the cage of our personality and get into the forest again, we shall shiver with cold and fright. But things will happen to us so that we don’t know ourselves. Cool, unlying life will rush in.
